STEEL PROPHET Commence Recording New Album, July Release Expected

An update from the STEEL PROPHET camp: “We've started recording our next CD at Silver Cloud Studios once again. We are presently sharing the studio with the one and only Rob Halford. He will work in Studio A and we will be in Studio B. Should be interesting! Some song titles are 'Magenta', 'Mirror, Mirror, Life after Life', and 'Blackest'. We are still struggling with an album title, but Unseen, The Shallows of Forever, or Visions of Force seem to be the top three choices. The album is slated for release at the end of July, 2002 in Europe and probably around then for the US too. Unfortunately, we've had to turn down some live shows like the L.A. Hellfest 2, and ONWARD's CD release parties, until the recording is finished. We expect to be finished recording and able to gig by April, so look out for us then!”
